How I work
Strategy & Alignment
Strategy, alignment, and business goals all have to connect from day one. Before opening any design tools, I work closely with product, engineering, and leadership to untangle messy problems and make sure we all share the same vision. By balancing what users need with how the business actually makes money and scales, I make sure our strategy is solid and everyone is pulling in the same direction before we build anything.
___
What it looks like
Context mapping • Cross-functional workshops • Strategic roadmap prioritization • Framing product principles • Strategic competitive audits • Technical alignment
System Architecture & Craft
I move fluidly between loose sketches and polished designs, balancing speed with production realities. By partnering closely with engineering right from the start, I catch architectural edge cases and clear out structural friction before they turn into costly problems down the line. Beyond the work itself, I guide teams through ambiguity by creating clear ownership, keeping communication open, and coaching designers to think beyond the screen and tackle hard system-level problems.
___
What it looks like
Wireframes • Affinity mapping • Sketches • Architecture • Prototyping • Iterations • Visual design • Spatial models • Engineering specs
Impact & Evolution
Once a product is live, I stay close to how people actually use it by tracking usage patterns and qualitative feedback. Instead of treating design as a one-time thing, I look at where friction happens and use those insights to guide the next strategic milestone. By making precise, iterative updates, I keep the product adapting to real user needs while driving long-term growth for the business. Ultimately, aligning post-launch metrics directly back to core business goals ensures the work continues to deliver value long after shipping.
___
What it looks like
Design QA • Post-launch data synthesis • Continuous feedback loops • Defining the long-term vision for the next iteration.
Who I’ve played nice with
I take this work seriously, but not much else. I’m energetic, a little sarcastic, and I probably swear more than I should. My presentations are chill, and I genuinely love hosting workshops or lectures where I get to teach. I leave easter eggs in my wireframes, surprise doodles at desks, and I prefer to celebrate people on random, unexpected days rather than waiting for a calendar invite. I obsess over process, ensuring decisions are rooted in facts rather than assumptions. Honestly? We’ll probably get along.
