PHOTOGRAPHY

Ok so film photography doesn’t show up that often as a need in UX design. I know. I KNOW. However, it’s a passion of mine, and this site isn’t just about my work and experience, it’s also me trying to give you a sense of who I am as a person. Photography, specifically film photoraphy, is very much a part of who I am as a person. It entered my life about 15 years ago. I love the physicality of the camera (my weapon of choice being a Leica M6). I love the slight resistance of the shutter button, followed by its decisive ‘click’. I love the action of pulling the film lever back to advance the film one frame, hearing the gears creak and wince as it does. I love that I get one chance to get the shot, rather than the 20+ pictures I might take of my linguine with my phone. I derive a level of satisfaction from it that have found if few other hobbies.
